Document Reading Course
The Fall 2010 Document Reading Course will take place on Monday and Tuesday evenings beginning on October 18, 2010, running through November 16, 2010.

The Document Reading Course is one of the most popular and helpful services offered to our members. This 5 week, 10 session course entitled “Introduction to Understanding and Using Construction Documents” is offered by the Minneapolis Builders Exchange twice a year (Spring and Fall). Classes meet in the Exchange plan room.
The course is instructed by Tim Gnitka, CDT and Senior Instructor at Dunwoody College of Technology.
Holiday Potluck
Lots of variety of festive foods await people from member firms who would enjoy coming down to the Exchange for an informal potluck.
Each December, MBEX invites all member companies to join in celebrating the holidays. Come to eat, drink and socialize! Registration is not necessary to participate in this event.
Annual Meeting
Hosted each January, the Annual Meeting allows members to recognize firms that have been with the Exchange for 30 years, as well as recognize Board members, both outgoing and incoming.
Sporting Clays Fundraiser
Each spring, MBEX hosts the Annual Sporting Clays Scholarship Fundraiser. The event includes a sporting clays shoot, a dinner and awards.
The Minneapolis Builders Exchange Scholarship is a special fund set up by the Exchange to award scholarships to individuals for educational purposes in a field directly related to the construction industry.

Joint Golf Tournament
The 2010 Joint Golf Tournament took place on Monday, May 24 at the StoneRidge Golf Club in Stillwater, MN.
A day of golfing, dinner included. Each May, the Minneapolis Builders Exchange hosts this tournament with the St. Paul Builders Exchange. Winners in several categories are awarded shortly after the dinner.

Member Appreciation BBQ
The 2010 MBEX Member Appreciation BBQ took place on Wednesday, June 9 at 11:00 a.m. Thank you for all member firms that attended!
Each summer, the Minneapolis Builders Exchange hosts a BBQ for its members. We provide the food, cooks, and parking lot — you provide the company!

Annual Boat Cruise
A three hour scenic evening boat cruise held during August in a different locale each year. Dinner is included with the trip.
