ABOUT THE EVENT
An afternoon out with other local construction business owners, executives, and industry professionals, and gain several chances to win exciting door prizes or indulgent bottles of wine or spirits.


WINE & SPIRITS PULL
Attendees can purchase a mysteriously wrapped package where, inside, they'll find either a bottle of wine or spirits that is potentially of much greater value than the purchase price. All funds from the pull go to support the MBEX / TBG Construction Scholarship.


50/50 RAFFLE
We will also have our traditional 50/50 cash raffle where the winner takes home half of the winnings and the other half goes directly into the MBEX Scholarship Fund. Remember, we give out ~$200,000 to students annually through out scholarship program!

 

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER
Cecil Smith is President and CEO of the Minnesota Multi Housing Association, representing 2,300 members with over 300,000 units. He has served since February 2020 and previously served as Board Chair of the Association from 2017 to 2018. He is also the principal and co-founder of a rental property investment and management company. He is currently a member of the City of Minneapolis Advisory Committee on Housing. Cecil is a licensed real estate broker and a graduate of the University of Auckland, New Zealand, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pure and Applied Mathematics.  He also pursued doctoral studies at the University of Minnesota in Computer Science.

The MBEX offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026 in observance of Memorial Day.

An annual event that offers a fantastic opportunity for members to enjoy a day of golf, networking, and camaraderie.
